Who We Are

SAVE QUOGUE is a Quogue-based nonprofit corporation representing residents who believe the Village must take a more proactive and effective role in preserving Quogue’s character and distinctive sense of place.

Our mission is to preserve, protect, and strengthen the architectural heritage and community character that make Quogue unique, while encouraging thoughtful new architecture and development that add to that character.

Through advocacy, collaboration, and public engagement, we support thoughtful land-use decisions, compatible development, stronger preservation policies, better design standards, and greater transparency in Village government.

We seek to:

• Advocate for laws, regulations, and policies that better protect Quogue’s historic and architectural character and guide the new construction that will shape its future.

• Promote thoughtful development and architecture that respect the scale, setting, and distinctive qualities of the Village.

• Encourage transparency and accountability in government decisions affecting historic properties, design, and development.

• Build broad community awareness and support for protecting and strengthening the qualities that make Quogue special.
